We are currently seeking an exceptional Recruiting Supervisor. This is an entry level management position, reporting to a Regional Coach, and working alongside a Fundraising Manager. The successful candidate must be able to work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, work independently and as a valuable member of our team. The position has been created to support the Fundraising Department achieve appropriate staffing levels.

Position Overview
Reporting to a Regional Coach, the Recruiting Supervisor develops and archives job postings, manages a variety of vendors (online & print media), and manages all recruiting related communications (email, recruiting blog, staff website) across the company.

Key Accountabilities

  • Achieve seasonal recruitment targets

    • Internal
      • Email, blog/staff website, job poster
    • External
      • Local/national print media, universities, recruiting websites
  • Maintain Job Posting archive
  • Managing external vendors
  • Maintain active communication contact list
  • Service role to Fundraising Offices
    • Create new job postings
    • Archive all existing Job postings
    • Promote hiring best practices
    • May include conducting phone interviews on behalf of some Fundraising offices
  • Conduct internal surveys
  • Reporting
    • Weekly / monthly / quarterly activity reports
    • IE: Which job postings / media / location worked best
  • Number of applicants vs number of hires
  • Other
    • Primary role as Recruitment Supervisor is to facilitate appropriate staffing levels in Canada, along with other possible recruitment needs in Australia / US as directed by the Fundraising Director.

    • Must maintain a weekly minimum fundraising requirement as directed by Fundraising Director.

    • Full time staff supplement their remaining hours with fundraising

    • Other duties as determined by the Fundraising Director

Have clear communication and facilitation skills. Have superior project management skills. Keep team members clear and up to date concerning the status of recruitment campaigns. Position Overview

Reporting to the Sales Director, the Sales Associate develops new prospects, prepares projections and other sales materials, and conducts ongoing research into the non-profit market with the goal to achieve sales targets for products and/or services in Canada, the US and Australia.

Key Accountabilities


- Sales prospecting and up-selling existing clients;
- Managing sales accounts for non profits with annual sales budgets under $1M;
- Preparing, Reviewing, Filing Sales documents including campaign projections & contracts;
- Provides support to the national sales team;
- Other as per direction of Sales Director;


Client Prospects

* Database
o Maintaining client prospect database;
o Point person for all incoming new business calls and referrals to Public Outreach;
o Research existing clients

* Prospecting new business;
  • Outreach (to be reviewed after three months):
    • Meeting and/or exceeding sales targets as determined by:
      • Number of contacts made
      • Number of sales meetings attended
      • Number of signed contracts
      • Other as directed by Sales Director
      • Cold calling (phone, email, mail)
      • Representing Public Outreach at conferences (AFP), seminars and other professional fundraising gatherings as approved by Sales Director.

    • Creation of proposed campaign projections
    • Approved by Sales Director Support person for marketing materials including:
      • Business cards & Sales brochures
      • Power point presentations

    • Produce weekly activity reports for Sales Director
  • Current Clients
    • Work in consultation with client Account Manager
  • Sales Proposals
    • Produce all campaign projections
    • New campaign projections continuing from existing campaign
    • New fundraising initiatives proposal
    • Projections for new clients
    • Review Contracts
  • Sales Meetings
    • To have clear objectives prior to meetings
    • Use an effective sales process tool in all prospect meetings

    • Goodwill materials targeting NGO staff & board of directors

    • Existing products - Research what other fundraising providers are offering
    • New products - Research what is new and upcoming in the fundraising world
  • Network with other fundraising professionals

    • Primary role as Sales Associate is to support the growth in Canada, along with other possible growth opportunities internationally as directed by Sales Director.

    • Maintain appropriate communication with sales force to ensure new prospects and current client intentions are effectively communicated.

    • Must maintain 10% of their working hours fundraising (directly engaging with the public asking for monthly donations on behalf of our clients) or as directed by Sales Director.

    • International sales and organizational support for Australia and the US as required by Sales Director
