Indoor Locations Outreach Program Management

The Indoor Locations Program Manager is THE professional development experience waiting to happen for the right candidate.

This is not an office position.

The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic about canvassing, with a willingness to help others improve, with an ability to travel.

The Indoor Locations manager is expected to maintain the necessary canvassing admin percentage of 50%.

This position is responsible for all mall staff. Having a car is a bonus.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Managing, assisting and motivating all Indoor Locations Outreach fundraising staff, and/or as directed;
  • Staff Hiring, Discipline and Firing;
  • Staff Training;
  • Developing and implementing effective in office/on turf training methods;
  • Acting as a liaison between the FM and Team Leaders/Supervisors;
  • Providing Team Leader Support including weekly meetings;
  • Fundraising Response Management;
  • Fundraising Volume Management;
  • Maintain canvassing standards set by the FM;
  • Developing and implementing an effective turf rotation for each client;
  • Effectively running two bi-weekly supervisor meetings;
  • Oversee the professional representation of clients by Public Outreach standards.
  • Assisting Fundraising Coordinator with overall office management;
  • Maintaining a 50% canvass to admin ratio;
  • Presenting information about all clients contracted to Public Outreach through its Indoor Locations Outreach initiative in a clear and concise manner;
  • Understanding and respecting work ethics and procedures;
  • Promoting a nurturing and positive atmosphere within the office and within crews;
  • Promoting a positive reflection of Public Outreach and of its outreach and fundraising program;
  • This position is Full Time and requires a minimum commitment of 37.5 hrs per week and a maximum of 40 hours per week (5 shifts). Working hours must accommodate at times Indoor morning shifts (typically 9:00am to 3:00pm) and at other times Indoor evening shifts (typically 3:00pm to 9:00pm). Monday to Friday, with the possibility of an occasional weekend shift as directed by the FM.
  • Wages start at $16.00 per hour.
